ISSFAL 2023 International Congress Travel Awards

As has become an ISSFAL custom, to encourage the participation of EARLY STAGE researchers, ISSFAL is again offering a number of Travel Awards, valued at between $500 and $1000 for the 2023 International Congress in Nantes, France, July 2-5. 

To be eligible for an award you must be:

• A member of ISSFAL at the time of application

• A post graduate or PhD student (PhD awarded within the past 5 years) working in a relevant field at a recognised institution

• A named author (not necessarily presenting author) on at least 1 abstract submitted for presentation at the meeting. 

To apply for an ISSFAL Travel Award, please submit a 200 word summary of your research activity and interests together with a supporting letter from your Department head or supervisor to Peter Clough the ISSFAL Secretary, at honsecretary@issfal.org by 30 April 2023.  

Please note: Applicants for a travel award from Africa, South America and all Developing Countries are particularly encouraged and a proportion of the funds have been set aside for this purpose.

Applications will be evaluated by the ISSFAL Awards Committee and successful candidates informed by 15 May 2023.
